How do I sign up?
Simply click the sign up link and fill in your details. We need your full name and address in order to provide you with your voucher and your email address to contact you by.
Am I guaranteed a visit?
When you submit your sign up form we will look at the number of people who have signed up. If there are more people than visits availiable, you may not be chosen for one this time. However, if other people don't complete their visits in the given time scale, you may then be asked to complete a visit.
How many times will I need to visit?
You can be as involved as you wish in the scheme. You may be invited on various visits but can decline them at any time.
What happens if I can't complete a visit?
A visit invitation will be sent to you via email. There is a choice whether or not to accept this invitation, at which point you can decline. If you have accepted an invitation and then decide you cannot complete it in the time scale given, please email to let us know.
When does the visit need to be completed by?
Every visit varies and instructions will be on your invitation. One week after a visit is proposed to the applicant a reminder will be sent, after that the visit will be re allocated to someone else.
Do the staff at Entropy know I’m going?
All staff are aware that visits are happening, but they do not know who will be visiting or when.
All completed questionnaires are treated with the strictest confidentiality and at no point will any member of staff know who visited.
Should I talk to the staff about the mystery visit whilst I am there?
The primary aim of the mystery visits is to gain an opinion of Entropy from the customer’s point of view, so we recommend that you complete your visit without help from the staff.
Do I need to buy an alcoholic drink?
You are asked to buy a drink as part of your visit, but this does not have to be an alcoholic one unless otherwise stated.
Do I need to buy food?
This will be stated on the visit invitation. Sometimes we will be just be looking at the drinks service, but normally we are interested in the food service also.
Do I need proof of purchase?
You need a proof of purchase in order to claim your voucher. This can be in the form of a debit/credit card slip or till receipt.
How do I fill in the questionnaire?
The questionnaire will be sent to you once you have accepted your visit inviation.
What happens to the answers I give?
Each answer you give has a score, and the scores from your questionnaire will be added to those from other visits to produce a final score.
The answers will also be used to give feedback on strengths and weaknesses to staff in order to help us to look at Entropy from a customer’s point of view.
Will I be able to see the final results of the survey?
No we will not publish the results of the surveys. But your feedback wil be used to make improvements so on your next visit you will perhaps see the changes!
How much do I get paid?
All payments are made in voucher form. Every visit has a different reward amount depending on the type of visit. It will be a minimum of a £10 voucher and full details will be on your invite. If you do not complete your visit or fill in your questionnaire, you will not receive your voucher.
