Life Pure Water was established in 2005 with the purpose of providing a competitively priced ethical alternative in the bottled water market. The UK imports over a billion litres of water every year, wasting money and fuel to transport a resource which we have in abundance.

 

 

Life is bottled at a certified organic source in Pembrokeshire. The facility is powered mostly by renewable electricity and bio-diesel, all recycling is done on site and carbon emissions are offset by planting broadleaf trees and shrubs in the catchment. They use the lightest weight plastic bottle on the market and all the materials, from lid to label are 100% recyclable.

 

In 2009 Life also became Carbon Neutral to Kyoto Standards on all deliveries and office activities, and projects are carried out where they are needed most with the offsets.

 

 

When consumers choose Life they are not only buying high quality, pure, British sourced mineral water; they are also benefiting someone much less fortunate than themselves without any extra cost or effort. For every litre of Life water sold  the delivery of at least a litre of clean drinking water to communities in the developing world through the independent charity, drop4drop is funded.

 

Drop4drop have funded water projects in India, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Uganda, Nicaragua, Senegal and Cambodia. Drop4drop works with leading charities including Concern, Christian Aid and Global Angels.

 

 

Life was first launched in Brighton in 2006 where it was an instant hit amongst independent retailers and ethically responsible consumers alike. Today Life is stocked in over 700 venues nationally including shops, cafes, schools, bars and clubs and a number of prestigious locations including Planet Organic, The Royal Parks, Shakespeare's Globe, The Royal Festival Hall and RHS Wisley. Life water is listed with a number of key national and ethical distributors across the UK and our customer base is continually expanding.

 

 

Life's popularity has grown organically through word of mouth and sponsorship of high-profile events and movie premieres. To date Life has been the preferred bottled water at Bestival, Glastonbury, Fatboy Slim's Big Beach Boutique, O2 Wireless and many more.
