Welcome to the Entropy website

We are now trading for our 13th year as a neighbourhood bar & restaurant in the heart of Leicester's 'West End'! A lot has changed over the years. In 2000 we opened as a tiny bar, expanding a couple of years later to include a small kitchen serving light meals & breakfasts. We have gradualy evolved into a relaxed bistro & bar that serves both the local community as well as foodies travelling from further afield .

We pride ourselves on our commitment to using local independent producers for both our drinks and our seasonal daily menu, and the fact that we make virtually everything on site from scratch each day, from our organic bread loaves to ice creams & meaty stocks. Our customers are also often our suppliers too! we operate an exchange scheme whereby produce - for example veg grown on local allotments, foraged morel mushrooms or local game can be swapped for vouchers or even just a pint or two. We are also privelidged to have our own family farm in Yorkshire rear 'rare breed' Dexter cattle & Southdown lamb exclusively for us.
